From raw fibre to finished colour.

I learned to dye yarn because I wanted to understand colour, Really understand it.

From dyeing fibres from scratch to spinning my own yarn, this process became central to my work.

It taught me patience, unpredictability, respect for materials and how to add new artistic touches to my work and pieces.

Every crochet piece I make begins long before the hook, with colour, fibre, and time!

AKAVI x IMAGINE WOOL

In collaboration with Imagine Wool, I hand-dyed their yarn, slowly and intuitively, I had the real opportunity and time to showcase my full personal palette and vision through this project.
Each shade is the result of heat, time, and instinct as no  batch is ever the same!
